Innovation through collaboration

The 2012 NEC Solutions Showcase, with the addition of two new zones to demonstrate solutions in Retail and Transport, was this year located at The O2, London, on the 25th April. Welcoming approximately 850 visitors, the Showcase enjoyed over 50% growth on last year's event so the additional space was crucial. Other zones featured at the Showcase incorporated innovative solutions for Digital out of Home, the Professional Office, 3D & Leisure, Education, NEC Innovation, Healthcare and Colour. Alongside the Showcase, NEC hosted two seminars in association with 'The Screen Forum' covering 'The O2 - A Digital Journey' and 'Digital Engagement; The Techniques 'Augmented Reality, The World According to 3D and Mobile Interaction'.

Unlike other exhibitions, the NEC Showcase is focused upon Integration. Cooperating with 47 Partner companies, each delivering a 'best in class' offering in their field, NEC Display Solutions demonstrates how collaboration leads to innovation - the driving force of the industry. Simon Jackson, VP NEC Display Solutions UK commented, 'some really interesting solutions have already inspired large corporate companies and prompted further partner engagement.' This is truly an illustration of the Showcase's unique nature, providing a platform focused on solutions rather than technology to create a compelling medium for growth within the displays industry.

With more than half of attendees being end users, many from well-known blue chip organisations, NEC's Solutions Partners were delighted with the quality of attendance. The reaction from all participating Partners reported extremely positive sentiments, further endorsing the strength of relationship between NEC and its Partners as NEC continues to evolve as a Total Solutions company and the leading provider of commercial display solutions.
